Sad v Happy? Well it maybe a case of perspective! Now we’ve moved on from January, we can now banish those ‘January Blues’. Poor old January was also the harbinger of Blue Monday, purportedly to be the most depressing day of the year and was reported in the press as being 19 January this year! Was it actually that bad? Doubt it…

Sad v Happy in January and February

For many people January and February can be difficult months. Short on daylight with volatile weather and temperature conditions. But, on the flip side it is mid winter with days starting to lengthen and the prospect of snow which for some is the highlight of this season, bringing fun and good cheer! It’s all a question of perspective! Take a look at the picture – do you see an old or a young lady. In summary we all look and evaluate things in different prisms – what is clear to one person can be very different to another. Wow!
